I have always loved babies. As I watched many of my friends begin their journey into parenthood I became more and more interested in pregnancy and birth. I believe that a healthy family begins with a lovingly supported birth followed by family bonding with minimal interruption.

I had both of my children at home under the excellent care of wonderful midwives. I had excellent breastfeeding support from lactation counselors and the mothers I met through La Leche League. I believe that the assistance I had as a new mother contributed greatly to my family's quality of life and I strive to give that gift to the families I serve.
